Thinking Deeply About Practice - a two-part Loop Forum event

Wed 12 Aug & Thu 3 Sept, 1.00 - 3.30pm

Tawa College / Thorndon School

Series 1: Thinking Deeply About Practice

Wednesday 12 August, 1.00pm - 3.30pm

Thursday 3 September, 1.00pm - 3.30pm

We invite senior and middle leaders from your school to attend a series of two Forum sessions in Term 3 that are designed to help us think more deeply about our practice with a 'future focus' lens.

Facilitated by CORE Education’s Derek Wenmoth, and using the recently released CORE Ten Trends 2020 Retrospective as a reference, the two sessions will:

  • unpack and discuss some future focused questions;
  • provide time to think together, share ideas and discuss; and
  • reflect on ideas that may influence how things are designed or approached in our individual schools.

The focus across the two sessions will be towards considering the responses we need to be thinking about and acting on as individuals, and as schools, in light of what is discussed.  And, as always, our Forum programme also provides an opportunity to develop stronger connections with each other and to collaborate on issues of strategic importance.
